Spring passes and one remembers one’s innocence.
Summer passes and one remembers one’s exuberance.

Hey I’m Lauren, I do the visioning and content creation around here. My background is in Eastern medicine and acupuncture.

We have a hard time keeping up with ourselves and often get stuck on the way things should be or the way we want things to be. I love the seasons as nature’s consistent reminder that everything is changing. There are subtle ways that this happens that are hard to see. Often, it feels as if all of a sudden it’s Fall. Or all of a sudden it’s cold. But when we look back things have been moving that direction slowly and surely.

I support people in whichever season of life they are in, wherever they are in their cycle and whatever season of nature we are in to the bigger picture. This perspective supports me to help clients to realize their experience is shared and one that is very human. Join me in this exploration of seasonal perspective. I look forward to sharing self-care and tips on how to support yourself through the changes that each season brings.

Well in the West is a resource to help you achieve your greatest health.

In Chinese medicine the practice of living seasonally is vital to maintain well-being. Nutrition, lifestyle and mindset shifts as the weather and light shift. In our modern lives, how do we adjust our lifestyles to adapt to the shifts of the seasons? Oftentimes we continue forth in our seasons as if nothing has shifted. When we ignore change in our lives season by season it is an easy habit to ignore in our lives. Yet, we all change. We are always changing. Well in the West is a place to remind you to attune to nature’s messages, switch things up, live by the seasons and allow yourself to change.

Come here to visit and stay awhile.
